Perfect Beach Weather

I love being out of school! I always knew that adults went and did fun things while us children were at school like going to the beach!!! It was especially fun this week because my sister Alyss is down for the summer from BYU and she brought her good friend from Idaho to meet our family. My youngest sister Nicole is still in high school but she was able to skip class but it's ok cause she's a senior. So my mom and sisters came to clearwater to go to the beach and my mother-in-law and sister-in-law came as well. We splished splashed out in the water and boogie boarded. I tried to boogie board with my 3 year old niece on my back but I was really juggling a lot with my bathing suit, the waves, and her choking me. I wanted to make everyone jealous that don't live in Florida but I live 10 minutes away from this gorgeous beach. I had once heard that Clearwater beach had the #3 sand in either the nation or the world. All in all it was a really fun day!

The Day Has Finally Arrived

Yes everyone the day has finally arrived, Jackie is a college graduate!!! This is not only exciting to begin a career that I love so much but the fact that I have been going to school since Kindergarten, non stop no breaks! I know most people can relate to this but it has been a crazy adventure from graduating highschool and that summer heading off to Idaho to begin college. Then graduating from BYU-I with an Associates and applying for Dental Hygiene. Then begining the long, and hardest program of my entire school career and now it is over. There is no more Monday class, no more homework assignments, tests, and studying for long hours! I do have to say that the graduation we had made all the hard work, the lengthy projects, the bazillions tests all worth it! To make the whole night even better Jackie's parents took us out for dessert at Burn's Steakhouse!

Most Contagious Laugh!

Jackie's last day at school they had a luncheon as a last hoora for the graduating class! During this luncheon they gave out superlatives. The list went on and on about this person being the sweetest, or this person being the best all around, or this person being the class clown, etc, and with each superlative was a gift to match it. Jackie was proud and excited to be awarded one to match her perfectly rather than a general superlative and that would be "Most Contagious Laugh"! She was proud to show off her gift making everyone laugh which would cause her to laugh and then the vicious cycle began (she wasn't awarded the most contagious laugh for nothing)! It was a blast

Wouldn't this make you laugh!

Another good night with my friends!

Sam just started working for the hospital and this was his first week! He is working 3p.m.-11p.m. so the nights are going to be really lonely. My friends decided to invite me out so I wouldn't be alone on a friday night, so I was able to enjoy my night with them!

Honda Grand Prix

This week Sam's mom got a brand new acura and along with this purchase was 13 tickets to the Honda Grand Prix for Friday the 4th. She was kind enough to share these tickets to Sam and I, Sam's sister Rhonda and her family, and Sam's brother Dane and his family! I wasn't expecting much but this event was awesome! I got to see the only female driver in the formula 1 category- Danica Patrick, and my favorite Dancing with the Star's winner- Helios Castronevus. The whole day I was able to hear the wonderful sounds of the cars roaring engines as they drove around the track. My favorite part of the whole day was the drifting! I saw the movie but to see it live, and in your face was AWESOME! Here are some pictures of our fun day!

Dental Hygiene Boards!!!!

So I just took my dental hygiene written board today and it was an 8 hour test, 350 questions and I had to get a 75% to pass. So I prepared myself by studying in groups, by-mself, and in class for 3 solid months. The last few weeks every spare minute I had to myself was dedicated to studying for this exam. So the reason why this exam is such a big deal is because I have to take 3 "boards" total. One being the written that I took today, another being the clinical in May, and the last being a law test in May. So I had to turn in my applications for all these boards by the end of this month, I don't get any refunds back and the total cost of these boards were way too much for a young married couple like me and Sam!! Here comes the bad part, I don't find out if I've passed the written board until May. I have to pass the written in order to take the clinical, and law exam which is in May. So in short if I don't pass the written board, I loose all the money we've spent on the boards and have to try and take them all over again in December!!!! It's a vicous cycle I don't want to have to do so I'm really hoping that I did well on this written exam!!

Here I am studying! This is pretty much my spot I was stuck at for 3 months!!!
