Some Long Anticipated News!

This Easter was a lot of fun I was able to have all my family present (minus one sister) and Sam's family together. The Chapman family sang in Sacrament and then had a nice big dinner afterwards. Then all the nieces and nephews went a did an easter egg hunt.



And then my niece finds this "special" egg that everyone has to gather around to see what's inside

YEP Sam and I are finally...





I took 6 tests because I didn't believe it. We actually found out on March 26 and told the whole family on Easter with the "special" egg. We were dying to tell them, we kept it a secret for 2 1/2 weeks, killer. We were able to get the whole surprise on film so I'll try and post that. I had my first prenatal visit yesterday and will get the first ultrasound in a week. We are very excited and have tried for a long time. I actually started going to the doctors to get tests done to find out if there was anything wrong and then BAM we get pregnant so the doctors probably think I'm wierd for getting all these tests done when there really wasn't anything wrong. I know that this is a major blessing to have and will enjoy every minute. I already have a pooch but the doctor says it's normal. Here are some side view pics

Conference weekend!

My conference weekend wasn't planned out very well. I had a baby shower on Sat for my good friend from Hygiene school and I was the hostess (along with her mom and aunt). But they had set up the date like three months in advance so conference wasn't popping in my head right then. Anyway so I missed all of Saturday's session but I was able to watch Sunday. I only have a few pictures from Sunday but they are hillarious.

The Gold and Green Ball

So this past saturday we had the wonderful opportunity to attend the St. Petersburg Stake Gold and Green Ball. It was definitely fun dressing up more than the usual Sunday best. I wore lipstick for the first time since my high school prom, I'm just not into my lips being bright and colorful. I was able to go with my wonderful husband and see and meet many great friends. Sam and I also went to the beach that day and it was perfect weather, a little windy and the water was freezing (at least to us true floridans) and we got the best sunburn tan ever. I felt like movie stars going to a ball. It was something that I'm glad we went to.

Sam's Birthday!!

Sam turned the big 2-6- and we had his family come over to celebrate and since I already talked about it in the last blog here are the pics

Birthdays and another year down!!!

So February through March is a busy time for Sam and I. We have Valentine's day on the 14th, then my birthday on the 26th, then our anniversary on March 4th, and finally sam's birthday on March 12th. It's just celebration after celebration!! Although this is fun and Sam will never forget my birthday or anniversary it can be a little stressful to try and get gifts because we feel like we really have to think of creative things to buy since we just bought stuff for V-day then our birthdays anniversary, etc. Anyways that is what has been going on plus I feel that I have finally been able to finish decorating the house and can't wait for everyone to see the finished touches. I want to paint but were just renting and I don't want to put any time and money into this place. Here are some pics from my birthday celebration and I will post sam's party next week since his birthday isn't till next thursday!

Our New Home

Sorry that this took so long everyone but the house is finally put together enough for you to take a peek. I have had parties already and can't wait to have more! Here is our beautiful home!
