Moving on Up!!

Sam and I have some very exciting news... We are MOVING OUT OF THE INLAWS!!!!! We weren't planning on moving out this soon but we figured I had a great job and if we could find one in the budget and still be able to save, why not? So we started looking on Craigslist and found many homes but none that fit our taste or good location. So here is the description and when we actually have the key I'll take plenty of pictures I promise. Ok so it's a 2 story townhome, 1712 square feet, 3br/2.5 bath, garage, washer and dryer included (which is upstairs), walk-in closets for both sam and me, and a beautiful huge kitchen. It's brand new, no one has lived in it and the owner bought it when they were built in 2006. Then the market crashed so they just put it on the renters market and we got the price dropped to practically stealing the place!! I love it and can't stop dreaming about it. We get the keys on Jan 31 and move in Feb 1.

December's Festivities

Christmas was a blast this year. I had surprised Sam with a 46' Samsung LCD flat screen tv which he had no idea. I got footage of him opening it but he doesn't have the funnest reaction he is more of a long term reaction guy (if that makes any sense). I'll try and put the video up so you can see but I have been unsuccessful trying to get that figured out. Sam had given my two Victoria Secret's bras which I've never had and I will never go back to plain chepo bras ever again, he also got my favorite perfume, Chanel Chance, mmmm. He also got me some jeans, belts, and my favorite chocolate- ferro rochero. Anyway we had Christmas eve at Sam's parents house, opened gifts and since his family is so big we did secret santa and we drew his parents name and bought them a new faucet. Sam's parents drew our names so they got us a digital picture frame, I love it. Christmas eve wasn't all too much fun and games for me, some food had made me sick and I actually spent a good portion of the night in the bathroom. Well when I felt better we left for Brandon to go to my parents house. We spent the night woke up the next morning, opened gifts and enjoyed spending time with family. The funniest thing is that my parents had given me and sam a digital picture frame as well. We decided to keep them both since they will come in handy for a bigger house where we will need lots of decor. So here are some of the pictures that we took from Christmas.

Christmas decorations!!!!

I LOVE Christmas, who really doesn't! I love REAL Christmas trees, the fake ones don't smell good, and are just as much of a pain to put together than a real one, so unless your allergic your just crazy for getting a fake one! I love lights up and down neighborhood streets. Every turn is a winter wonderland. I love listening to 94.9 to listen to the Christmas music all day long, it cheers me up so much! Sorry if I sound too cheesy or a big loser but at least you don't have to deal with my obsession of Christmas like my husband does. Ask him about it and you'll never hear the end of his complaints about me, sorry sammie! It's a tradition that Sam and I started to get a Christmas tree the day after thanksgiving and decorate the house. Well if you don't know we are still living with my in-laws (soon hoping to move out but we are saving a lot of money). It's not a bad setup but we were a little cramped with everything in a 650 square foot apartment basically! So before we decorated we also rearranged the house and threw out some old furniture! Here are some pictures of our newly decorated house!

This was my mom and dad's Nativity scene that I have grown up with and she handed it down to me when her mom passed away and she inherited the really nice nativity scene from her!

We don't have a star for the tree because we lost it somewhere when we moved but we will get that soon! Another tradition we do is each year we buy an ornament I just need to add the years onto them so we will remember! That's why you might see a random red ornament in there, it's one we got last year!

This is another decoration I have grown up with that was handmade by really good friends of my family, ted and penny Johnson. The little drummers play songs by hitting the bells next to them! All the nieces and nephews love it.

I have been wanting floating shelves for so long but I thought my mother in-law wouldn't like me to put big holes all over her walls but she said go for it and she absolutely loves them!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry it's a little late but I figured I would still post how I am so thankful for this year and everything that God has blest me and my family with! Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving!
First thing in the morning every year for the past 3 years we run in the Turkey Trot 5K. I'm waiting on my mom to email the pictures from thanksgiving dinner but I'll post those as soon as I get them.

Which one to choose?

I'm doing major research on T.V.'s and I've come down to two nominees. Both are similar but in a way very different. First let me tell you the wishlist for the t.v.:
1. It's got to be a descent price, none of this $2,000+ crap. Even though I've got a great job I still try to go frugle.
2. We want a 47 inch
3. LCD, Plasma has not be rated very high
4. We want the HDMI so we can plug a computer to it.
5. It has to have the 120 Hz for my sports loving husband

So with this as our wishlist I've come down to choosing between the VIZIO 1080p and the Sony 1080p Bravia
Vizio:

It has all the specs we want but we heard it doesn't have the great resolution as Sony and Samsung. Something about the black and white is rated low but if your not picky than it's a great buy! It's definitely the cheaper of the two but I don't want to be that frugle if it's going to be obviously bad resolution!

Sony Bravia:

This one has the best resolution, and it's the best name brand (under Samsung). It is only a 46" (off by 1" so not that big of a deal) but's almost double the price of the Vizio.
So anyone that has heard of these T.V.'s and can give me any advice to choose between the two that would be great! Then after that I have to find an entertainment center to hold it.

Family Reunion

So I mentioned in earlier post about our family reunion we had in Orlando and we had some awesome pictures taken by Stacy! They turned out great so here are a few of my favorites. The family is missing two other families. Scott and Julie and their 7 kids, and Shane and Tina and their 2 kids, missed you guys!

Happy Halloween

So we had a great Halloween Holiday weekend. We were invited to so many parties on the day after Halloween, it was funny to still celebrate it after the fact. We should do that with Christmas!!! Well we decided to go to Kempton and Jenny, Jill and Mike's party and had a blast! Best game ever was in the pool: "Blind Man's Bluff". We took so many group pictures, I only have the one and then took some with just me and Sam. I was suppose to be Sarah Palin but didn't really look like her so I decided that I would be some President's wife. Sam was some body builder with a fart machine in his back pocket. Kempton named Sam, "Sarah Palin's body guard". That works too. Thanks guys for such a great party!
